深渊号角

深渊号角是一款与末日之刃和死亡阴影同样等级的非官方扩展包。

深渊号角（Horn of the Abyss）（简称HotA）是《英雄无敌III》的一款制作相当全面的非官方扩展包，旨在延续经典的RoE/AB/SoD系列。

该项目的目标是创建一个为《英雄无敌III》增加大量新功能的扩展包，但同时忠于原游戏的公式和愿景。主要关注的是对修改游戏的每个方面的质量。这包括仔细修复原游戏的平衡问题，消除开发者遗留的图形缺陷，并增加大量新内容，如新的战役、新的地图物件和新的可玩派系。该项目以原始《魔法门》宇宙为基础，力求保持与原作的联系。

与基于《追随神迹》的模组不同，深渊号角将新的城镇直接添加到游戏中，而不是替换掉任何现有的城镇。该扩展包需要玩家拥有《死亡阴影》或《英雄无敌III完整版》才能运行。
