You will be instructed in the basic duties of any who run a kingdom here. I will give advice each day, so please have some patience and read my messages. Once you learn what I have to teach, you will be able to run your own kingdom very smoothly. ÿ Day 1 Now, you should construct a building EACH day. To build, enter the town by clicking on the town itself or on the small picture of it on the right side of the screen.

Once inside the Town Screen you need to look for a structure called the Village Hall to the right. Click on it and the Hall Screen will pop up. Here you will find all sorts of buildings to build. Right click on them to learn what their functions are and how much it is to build them. For the moment, please build the Dwarf Cottage. This will allow you to recruit Dwarves. ÿ Day 2 Today it would be wise to build the Homestead, which will provide a home for the Elves. Eventually you can upgrade the Homestead, but you should build other structures first. Once you have finished building for the day, go to Jenova and learn more about your surroundings. ÿ Day 33 Today, it would be a good idea to build the Enchanted Spring. Of course, you may build what ever you like, but building in this order will give you maximum efficiency. On the first week you want to build as many troop dwellings so that you have the most amount of creatures available next week to recruit. ÿ Day 4” Today we will be able to build the Dendroid Arches. This will allow you to recruit Dendroids, who are a little slow, but have a wonderful ability. The Dendroid can bind the opponent they strike to the ground, making it so the creature can't move. However, if the Dendroid walks away, then the binds leave as well, so be careful about moving the Dendroid away from stacks you want stuck where they are. ÿ Day 5J Right now we can build the Unicorn Glade, a beautiful place where Unicorns dwell. These powerful creatures will be a great addition to your forces.
Now, don't forget to have Jenova come back every so often and replenish her supplies of troops. What she starts out with won't last forever and there is a lot of ground to cover. ÿ Day 6ù You should have Jenova return today, because we are going to build the Mage Guild. This will give her the opportunity to buy a Spell Book and learn some spells. Spells are very necessary during combat, and can really tip the balance in your favor. ÿ Day 7˜ Rather than build anything else, you should build the Citadel. This will give you a fifty percent increase in the number of troops who will arrive tomorrow. It will also add arrow towers to your defenses, as well as a moat. I don't think we are going to be attacked, but normally you will be. Protecting your original town can often be difficult, but the Citadel and eventually the Castle make it easier. ÿ Day 8ö Wonderful - a new week! There is one very important thing that happens at the beginning of the week. All of the troop dwellings are refreshed with troops, both inside and outside of the Rampart. You should send a Hero around to collect all of the troops living outside of the Rampart. In order to hire a Hero you will need to enter the Tavern. Click on the Tavern and then hire one of the two Heroes available there. Send that Hero out to recruit all of those troops waiting in their dwellings. ÿ Day 9_ Today you should build the Marketplace. This will allow you to trade an excess of one resource for something you need. Sometimes, you will have an abundance of one resource (such as Wood), so you can trade it here at the Marketplace for something you need (such as Gold). The more Marketplaces that you own, the better deal you'll get on the trade. ÿ Day 10÷ In order to build a City Hall you will need a Blacksmith. Go ahead and build the Blacksmith, and see what he has to sell your Hero. Remember, you can only use the Blacksmith if there is a Hero around, creatures can't use his wares by themselves. ÿ Day 11 Now you can finally build the City Hall, which will bring in even more revenue for your kingdom. Now it will earn you 2000 Gold per day. That will help when paying the recruiting fees for all of those troops in your dwellings at the beginning of the week. ÿ
Day 12@ For the rest of the week we're going to worry about building some structures to help increase the number of creatures who arrive at the beginning of the week.

For starters you will want to build the Miner's Guild. This will give you a few extra Dwarves each week, and it is always better to have more troops available. ÿ Day 13© To get more Dendroids at the start of next week you should build the Dendroid Saplings. This wonderful structure gives your starting town two extra Dendroids each week. ÿ Day 14 Before the week runs out you should build the Castle. This will increase your population by 50% and will allow you to build the Capitol. It also adds to the defenses of your town. You may not need those extra defenses now, but in other lands they could come in very handy. ÿ
Day 15œ As you can see the Capitol is now available, and earning 4000 Gold every day is each ruler's dream. Order the construction, and reap the benefits tomorrow. ÿ Day 16æ I know you have been eyeing that Dragon dwelling, but haven't really been able to afford it up until now. However, it requires a second level Mage Guild. You will have to build that today, before you can build the Dragon Cliffs. ÿ Day 17È Finally, we can have Dragons in our midst. Build the Dragon Cliffs and recruit some Green Dragons. Don't worry; in a few days you will be able to upgrade them to the even more powerful Gold Dragons. ÿ Day 18í You have heard me talk about upgrading buildings, especially the troop generators. What this does is give you a more experienced, faster and better troop within the dwelling. It is always a good idea to upgrade the dwellings in your town, but only if you have the resources to spare. It is far more important to hire troops or build new structures than to upgrade.

For today we should build the Mage Guild Level 3. This will allow you to upgrade your Dragon dwelling and gain more spells. ÿ Day 19} I think you have the hang of it, sir. I know that Jenova has a few more instructions for you, but that is about all I have for now. Simply continue to build what is left in your town, upgrading the troop dwellings and the troops in the order that pleases you. If you have any further difficulties, please refer to your on-line manual, as that also has some valuable information. ÿ Day 1Î Whenever you've finished (that is, when your Heroes no longer have any movement left and you've built what you needed to build) you end your turn by clicking the 'hourglass' on the right side of the screen. ÿ Day 8* Now, in order to pay for those troops you are going to need to make more money each day. The best way to do that is build up your Town Hall. This will produce more Gold each day as you upgrade the structure. So build the Town Hall and watch your income go from 500 Gold a day to 1000 Gold a day. ÿ
